Distinguished Sen. Alhaji Jibrin Isah Echocho during his campaign manifestoes to the people of Kogi East, promised to revitalized the abandoned Acharu Palm Oil Processing Plant in Egume, Dekina Kogi State.

Sen. Isah Jibrin sometime in 2019 moved a motion at the floor of the Senate for the reactivation of the age long project constructed about 40 years ago (1980). 

Today, team of Engineers from National Productivity Center (NPC) and Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment were at the Acharu Mill, to conduct an on-site assessment of the Plant in an effort to commence revitalization as soon as possible.

To this effect the Kogi East Apc Zonal Chairman

Hon Ahmed Attah has commended the efforts of KOGI EAST Senator for this development and pray that, this visit by the (NPC) will yield a positive result in no distance time so as to create job opportunities/employment to the good people of Eastern Part of Kogi State.
