Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu prides himself as a beacon of hope, proven by his countless medical and educational interventions he has rendered to those in need over the years — an icon of transparency, proven by his open-book philosophy — a dedicated man, proven by his unconditional loyalty to His Excellency, Gov. Yahaya Bello and his progressive leadership.

The man, Pharm. Asuku is a natural-born leader whose sterling qualities are exceptional. 

He is one man who grew steadily through hard work, discipline, prudence, fear of God, honesty, and can best be described as a bastion of hope, courage, and an epitome of humility to anybody who comes close to him. In his public and private utterances and conduct, he remains a unique individual and is made so by his uncommon humility, courage, honesty, credibility, and integrity.

To Pharm. Asuku, public officials are accountable to the public they serve, and should never be used for personal elevation or gain but should be seen as a call to duty, to serve God and humanity. He walks the talk by championing the fight for humanity through is personal capacity, his foundation, and his role as the Chief of Staff to the Governor.

It is his philosophy and belief that leaders are like the moon whose light should radiate and reflect in their followers like the stars and that leadership is not a zero-sum game and that the primary purpose of government in a democracy is to serve the common good of the people. Every government decision must be one that is anchored on delivering the greater good for the greater number of people.

To achieve this, it is his conviction that every child and youth must be given education must not only be compulsory but also of the highest possible standard. And his endless emphasis on good health, as it is his belief that one can only enjoy the benefits of good developments when one is healthy and alive.

Education and sound health must also be given priority over and above all other considerations as the cornerstone of the development of every society without which no progress can be made at both societal and individual levels.

Pharm. Asuku, who has become a shining star in the Gov. Yahaya Bello-led New Direction government has spread the gospel of Governor Yahaya Bello to the nook and crannies of the state and once again, reaffirming why he is the Chief of Staff – The Chief of all Chiefs!
