SANGAYA EDUCATION: Gov Zulum Inaugrates High Powered Committee.

In his efforts to address numerous challenges facing the Sangaya Education in the state to help in achiving the state Development Plan, the governor of Borno state, Prof Babagana Umara Zulum Mni fnse inuagrated high powered Sangaya Transformation Committee to Recommend to the Government suggestions on the best ways to reform the system.

The Committee membership includes Government officials, members of the academia, traditional and Religious leaders which include:

1. Khalifa Aliyu Ahmed Abdulfahi as Chairman

2. Prof Goni Umara

3. Dr Hamma Adama Biu

4. Prof Abba Ajeri

5. Sheikh Modu Mustafa

6. Dr Abba Bashir Dan-Keluri

7. Imam Abba Saleh Ibrahim Saleh

8. Sheikh Goni Umara

9. Prof Yakubu Yunusa Musa

10. Goni Kolo Gana

11. Prof Abdulkareem Ishaq

12. Goni Lawan Goni Zarami

13. Hassan Abdullahi Hassan

14. Alhaji Ali Kaka to serve as secretary.

The Governor Called on the Committee to work assiduously in achiving their Terms and Reference while Directing the Secretary to the State Government to make provision of the Sangaya Education in the 2021 budget.
