Happy teachers day by Haruna Miftahu a lecturer of Kogi University

Haruna Miftahu a lecturer of Kogi University Anyigba, has appealed to Governments at all levels to consider upscaling teachers’ remunerations to enhance efficiency, professionalism and dedication.

Miftahu made the call in a statement issued in commemoration of the 2020 World Teacher’s Day on Monday at Kogi State university Anyigba.

He described teachers as unsung heroes whose impact went beyond classrooms deserving adequate recompense in welfare and recognition.

In his remarks he said;

Teachers day: a sober reflection on whom a teacher was before my birth in 80s and what they become afterwards in all ramifications........
