Gombe Government commences hefty erosion control project at Makera.

Gombe State Government has mobilized contractors to site to begin the larger erosion control project at the Makera site in Gombe local government.

This gully erosion is one of the largest in Gombe state and has been claiming lives and properties for years.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya last week visited the proposed project site where he assured residents and people doing business around the area that his government would soon commence work at the site.
