Kogi First Lady Visited the Family Of Late Women Leader

Wife of Kogi State governor, Mrs Rashida Bello has commiserated with the people of Dekina Local Government over the death of All Progressive Congress (APC) Women Leader, Mrs. Mariam Egbunu who died after a brief illness.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the family in Abocho recently, Mrs Bello described the death as a great loss to the state.
The governor’s wife, who also attended the burial, urged members of the family and community to take solace in the fact that she contributed her quota to the advancement of humanity and the state.
She used the occasion to enjoin other party members to emulate the exemplary leadership style of the late Women Leader.
Mrs. Bello prayed God to grant late Mariam Egbunu eternal rest and family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Some of the personalities that accompanied Mrs. Bello include Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs. Fatima Buba, Hajia Musili Jimoh and Senior Special Assistants (SSA) to governor’s wife on women affairs and administration, Hon. Sandra Musa and Hon. Victor Okee respectively.
